Scotland Stalking

NewAvon Arms welcomes both new and experienced stalkers an opportunity to take part in cull stalking in the Scottish Highlands. Each trip is an amazing chance for you to hone your skills, get hands on, gralloch multiple carcasses and gain experience to further develop and become an independent stalker.

We manage the deer population at a number of sites with tens of thousands of hectares of ground to cover. This land is all upland forestry that is due to be processed and replanted. By taking part in one of our cull stalking trips, we offer a unique chance to be part of a commercial forestry deer management project.

Each trip will typically comprise of:
– Travel to Scotland on a Sunday
– 5 days stalking Mon – Friday (2 outings per day)
– Travel back on the Saturday.

If you want to fly to a local airport, or take other methods of transportation we are happy to pick up and drop off.

For accommodation we recommend a number of locations dependent on the proximity to the site we will be stalking that trip. Please contact us, for more details.

Each trip will be charged £1400 per person. The target species will be Sika & Red deer. There is no limit on numbers and no additional shot fee. Cull Stags, Hinds, and Calves are all included in the costing and Mature Stags shot will be charged at £375 per Stag regardless of species.

We can also offer a 3-day trip, please contact us for costings.

You will NOT need to extract deer, instead you will mark the location on a smart phone map, which we NewAvon Arms will extract. All carcasses are retained by us, but you are welcome to be involved in the butchering and larder process, with full facilities in close proximity.

We can accommodate individuals and groups from 2-6 stalkers. You are more than welcome to book multiple trips. Start times and end times depend on different days, weather, and morale but you are guaranteed at least 6 hours of stalking each day Mon-Fri. There are high seats and doe boxes throughout the site to be used by anybody in our group.

We can offer BDS DSC L2 outings in conjunction with your booking at no additional charge. See below.
