Equipped with Peak 44™’s new Bastion stock. This stock is among the lightest production vertical grip carbon fiber stocks on the market, weighing in at just 23 ounces. It features a comfortable ambidextrous palm swell and a substantial thumb groove to promote proper form while shooting. The forend features dual sling studs to allow the shooter multiple options when deciding on accessories. This upgraded stock allows shooters to comfortably and accurately shoot from all positions. This insures accuracy not only at the range but in the harshest of conditions while in the field.
Also grabbing the eye is the second generation 3DHEX® recoil pad. This is the first production 3D printed pad the firearms world has seen. Hidden inside the pad is a series of interlocking voids that progressively collapse during recoil. This expands the time component of the recoil impulse and deadens the sharp kick of magnum chamberings. This means less felt recoil resulting in better accuracy downrange.
More pronounced spiral fluting on the bolt body not only trims weight but also reduces the bearing surface within the action and results in smoother bolt function.
Fit with Weatherby’s highly-effective Accubrake® ST, this brake blends to match the profile of the muzzle. With 30 symmetrically-spaced ports that help harness the recoil, it tames even magnum chamberings.

- Sub MOA Accuracy: All Mark V rifles have a guarantee to shoot a 3-shot group of .99″ or less at 100yards (SUB-MOA) from a cold barrel with premium ammunition within two years of purchase date.
- TriggerTech Trigger: TriggerTech’s Trigger provides true creep break, extremely short over-travel, and is externally adjustable (down to 2.5lbs). PrecMark V Accumarkision cut stainless steal components ensure consistent trigger pulls from shot to shot in a safe, reliable, and corrosion resistant package.
- Accubrake ST: By adding an Accubrake St you will significantly reduce felt recoil up to 53%. Available in four different barrel diameters, with thread protector, for a perfect brake-to-barrel contour.
- 54 Degree Bolt: The shortest in the industry (as compared to a typical 90 bolt throw). Allows for faster chambering on follow-up shots and greater bolt-to-scope clearance.
- Deep Fluted Bolt: A larger radius, deeper flute not only trims a bit more weight from the bolt body of the mark V, it also increases the smoothness with which the bolt can be cycled.
- Carbon Fibre Stock: Sourced from peak 44, this stock has the distinction of being the lightest production aerospace-grade carbon fibre stock on the market. Industry leading manufacturing techniques, patented bedding technology and the addition of the 3DHEX recoil-reducing buttpad mean this is one of the most advanced lightweight stocks to date.
- 3DHEX Recoil Reducer: Large calibre felt recoil dissipation provided in the lightest recoil reducer available. 3DHEX is a patent pending high strength energy diffusing lattice structure designed to distribute specific directional forces and reduce muzzle lift.
