Our Services Include
- Stock also includes scope mounts, scope flip-up covers, rifle magazines and sound moderators.
- NewAvon Arms can provide you with cleaning equipment including cleaning rods, brushes, mops, full shotgun cleaning kits and other accessories to keep your gun in full working order and condition. If you would like us to clean your gun(s) for you then please give us a call.
- Gun slips of various sizes, quality and style are always available in our showroom. We also have top quality cartridge bags in full leather, leather & canvas along with certificate holders and other accessories.
- Gun safes ranging in price and size are available. We hold a limited stock of these so please call for information.
- We have a selection of targets, ranging from paper, fire-bird and knockdown versions.
- A selection of binoculars from Leica and and other top tier brands are available from stock or to order.
- Thermal and night vision optics from premium brands such as Pulsar and InfiRay.
- Advice on the selection of centre fire reloading, presses, rifle and pistol calibre dies, bullets, powders, primers and cases can all be provided.

Used Guns
We carry a range of used guns and are always keen to buy good quality used items. We will always consider good quality makes of guns for part exchange deals. Call us for more information. Please remember it is not possible to give you a price over the phone or by email. Please visit us with your firearm so that we can view the gun to give you a fair appraisal.

If you are new to the sport or you’re an old hand it’s equally important to be able to get help and advice. With over 40 years of experience as gun dealers, Newavon Arms has what it takes. Our ethos is that whatever your experience or knowledge you need to have the right gun and equipment for the job in hand. Fittings and Adjustments
It’s a fact that we are not all built the same. We understand that when you have used your new gun in the field you may need some adjustments or just plain and simple advice. So it’s important that the gun shop you buy from has the necessary engineering skills and equipment to make these adjustments. Chokes may need adjusting, scopes mounting and stocks fitted. All this, plus localised repairs wherever possible and gun storage are all part of our service at NewAvon Arms. If you purchased your gun from NewAvon Arms please feel free to call in and ask for advice on any issues you may be experiencing in the field.
Gunsmith Services
Fitting chokes, scopes and silencers may appear to be a relatively easy task. Unfortunately however, there are many pitfalls that the unwary can fall into. This makes it advisable to use an experienced and trusted gun smith to ensure that you do not devalue your investment. Typically choke and silencer threads can be crossed. NewAvon Arms is well equipped to undertake these tasks having the know-how, engineering skills, machinery and tooling. Any adjustments to barrels will need to be sent to the Proof House for certification. Again we can arrange for this on your behalf.
Shotgun & Rifle Adjustments and Alterations
Here again our gunsmith’s skills are in demand to repair actions, adjust triggers, fit new strikers or re-blue barrels – to mention but a few. No matter what work you want we will try and remedy it for you!
Buying from the Shop
Due to current strict UK laws, guns, factory ammunition and shotgun cartridges will only be sold to the holder of a current and original shotgun/firearms certificate and to the person named. Please remember to bring your certificates with you otherwise we regret we cannot sell you any of the restricted items.
