The Crosman 2240 is a full powered air pistol utilizing CO2 power to propel pellets with up to 5.5 ft/lbs of energy, just below the UK legal limit. This level of power ensures that dispatch targets such as rats and small rodents is possible up to ranges of 10 meters.
Bolt Action
The pistol is cocked and loaded through a positive and easy to use bolt action system, with pellets loaded directly into the rifled steel barrel which offers excellent accuracy and consistency. This makes the Crosman 2240 a quick and easy pistol to reload, excellent for when that follow up shot can make all the difference.
CO2 Power
Utilizing a 12g co2 capsule as the propellant, the Crosman 2240 can fire up to 50 shots per capsule. Each capsule is loads into the chamber below the barrel and tightens up with the cap to pierce the end and release the CO2. This system is very reliable and easy to change and replace for a simple and low maintenance air pistol.
Trigger
With a crisp and clean release on the 2 stage trigger, and a strong crossbolt manual safety to prevent accidental firing, the Crosman Ratbuster is a joy to shoot and very easy to adjust and customize.
