Premium Sensor, Premium Performance

The Telos LRF XT50 is the latest addition to the Telos thermal imaging monocular series and introduces the premium XT sensor to the range, offering outstanding image quality all the way through its magnification range. Plus, a new, low-profile LRF achieves a more slimline design with a tripod mount built in.

European-made Premium Thermal Optics

The Telos LRF XT50 features the 1280×1024, 12µm thermal sensor first introduced in the Merger LRF XT50, offering the same incredible image quality in a monocular format for the first time. This sensitive thermal sensor, combined with a powerful 50 mm f1.0 objective lens, achieves outstanding detail — even when taken to the top of the devices 2-16x magnification range.

See More in Adverse Conditions

With its <20mk sNETD thermal sensitivity rating and its 2300 m detection range, the Telos LRF XT50 is designed to produce the best possible picture in almost any conditions — revealing even the smallest heat sources in adverse weather such as heavy rain, dense fog, high humidity, etc.

High Magnification & Zoom Boost

A generous 2-16x magnification range, with such impressive image quality, allows you to zoom in to inspect an observed object without losing any valuable detail — lending more opportunities to identify what you have detected. Plus, with Pulsar’s Zoom Boost, the Telos LRF XT50 can even digitally enhance your magnification range, extending it to up to 24x!

Picture-in-Picture Mode

Plus, with Picture-in-Picture mode (PiP), you can even closely inspect an object without losing control of the observation area. Once activated, a small, zoomed-in viewing screen will appear in the top 10% of the viewfinder, allowing you to zoom in and observe the entire FOV simultaneously.

Built-in Image Stabilisation

The Telos LRF XT50’s built-in electronic image stabilisation is a crucial feature when tracking fast-moving subjects in the field, eliminating camera shake and motion blur and allowing you to focus on the task at hand without worrying about distractions.

New High Resolution AMOLED Screen

A 1920×1080 AMOLED display — the highest resolution display in the Telos series to date — offers enhanced image quality, deeper blacks and high contrast, along with excellent colour reproduction; ensuring every image you see through the Telos LRF XT50 is as crystal clear as possible.

Updated, Low Profile Laser Rangefinder

Perhaps the most noticeable difference with the Telos LRF XT50, when compared to previous iterations in the series, is the completely redesigned laser rangefinder. Now boasting a low profile, not only does it achieve a more slimline profile, it also extends the distance measurement range — now achieving 1200m with an accuracy of ±1m.

Plus, gone is the need for a separate tripod adaptor — the Telos LRF XT50 now features a tripod adaptor built into the base of the laser rangefinder.

Up to 8 Hours Battery Life

The Telos LRF XT50 offers wireless charging via Pulsar’s LPS 7i quick-charge Li-ion battery. This battery will enable up to 8 hours of continuous observation (depending on temperature) before a recharge is needed.

And there’s no need for special chargers, as this battery can either be placed on a wireless charging mat or connected to any charging cable with a USB Type-C port. Fast-charging capabilities make sure you won’t be without power for long.

Rugged Design & Reliable Protection

Just like the Telos models before it, the Telos LRF XT50 features the same robust construction designed to withstand bumps and scrapes, with a composite polymeric rubber-coated case ensuring a reliable grip — even when wet. A newly designed focus ring features more rigid grooves, allowing for precise zooming and ensuring a firmer hold on the ring when using the device in wet conditions.

Plus, with a IP67 protection rating, this thermal imaging monocular will operate unaffected by extreme temperatures (from -25 to +40° C) and remains resistant to dust and moisture ingress — even surviving a drop in 1m of water for up to 30 minutes.

Ergonomic Chest Harness Included

As with all previous iterations of the Telos thermal imaging monocular, the Telos LRF XT50 is provided with an ergonomic carry case that has been designed to remain stylish and comfortable through the optimal positioning of straps; evenly distributing the weight of the device and dispersing the load away from the shoulders, back, and neck. This case ensures quick access to the device when you are on the move and guarantees it will remain well-protected when it is not in use.

The carry case fits snugly against the body, but will not impede the ability to bend, turn, and crouch freely. It will also not affect your range of movements when moving across country.

The Telos LRF XT50 is also equipped with straps as an alternative method of secure carriage. These straps can be easily attached to a belt, or to a backpack or webbed gear with a modular Molle fixation system.

Always Upgrading, Never Downgrading

The Telos series is unique in its ability to upgrade technological components, keeping your device running at the best of its ability and allowing you to adapt to advances in technology in a fast-moving industry.

Built-in Video Recorder

As with all current Pulsar devices, the Telos LRF XT50 features a built-in video recorder with audio and still image capture. Recording all the best moments from your observations is as easy as the press of a button. Images and videos captured on the device are stored on its generous 128GB of internal memory, or can be stored on a connected smartphone using Pulsar’s Stream Vision 2 app.

Stream Vision 2 App Connectivity

Compatible with the Stream Vision 2 app for Android or iOS. This app opens up a wide range of connectivity features, including:

  • The ability to use a mobile phone as a wireless remote to control and adjust the Telos LRF XT50’s settings. View every change you make through the device on a smartphone or tablet screen in real-time. This feature also allows for remote recording of footage or the capture of still images.
  • A gallery of photos and videos captured on the monocular can be browsed through and downloaded. These videos and images can also be shared.
  • Remotely update firmware and take advantage of all the latest digital features available for your device. Stream Vision 2 allows you to ensure your Telos device is always running at the top of its game, with all the latest digital features available.
